| 265242 | 2004-08-25 08:15:00 | Clean install of Win 98 on HP Pavilion 6609. Installed printer driver off HP CD. Printer works OK but everytime Windows boots up it says it has found new hardware ( Hp 830C ) and does a search for the driver. This message can be cancelled and startup proceeds. Not fatal but annoying. Any help appreciated. |

| 265243 | 2004-08-25 08:20:00 | Can happen, usually associated with an out-of-sequence install. Printers can be very fussy as to when they are connected in the install order. Feed it the driver and let it do its thing, play along with it and it might keep quiet in the future? |
