| 1368889 | 2014-02-26 20:41:00 | MB: Gigabyte GA-X58A-UD3R - Bios ver FH CPU: Intel 960 POST detected (IDE Channel 7 Master) my OCZ Vertex 4 SSD fine; Windows loads perfectly OK; BIOS Boot priority detects the SSD OK; But, nowhere I can find my Vertex4 SSD in the 'Standard CMOS Features'; my other (Seagate 1TB) HDD shows OK. Also, my CPU fan seems to be spinning fast at ~1374 rpm when idle, idle temp: 37 C; CPU Smart fan control is set to 'Auto'. Looks like it is not working correctly as it should be. Any suggestions? |

If so, drives on those controllers usually only show up on the controller's own BIOS extension popup during POST, not in standard BIOS setup. 1374 rpm is pretty slow for a CPU fan, that sounds pretty normal if you have auto fan control turned on to me. I have mine off for maximum cooling and the fan full speed is 3300 rpm |
