1368406 2014-02-22 04:20:00 Anyone here mastered TSB MyBank Android app? I can make it work but after half an hour idle it is still logged in and I can't find any logout option!
It's ok so long as I don't leave my phone lying around - but!!!

1368407 2014-02-22 05:40:00 You might want to email
The developer and let them know. I would say that the issue has something to do with the user session time not being set to allow an in active period for too long

Also with android bank apps, they are often done as an after thought after the bank has done the iPhone app.

1368410 2014-02-22 07:52:00 Are you sure it is still logged in? I would expect it to kick you out after a fairly short (10min or so) of inactivity. I do not use TSB but the BNZ mobile app can be set to show balances to your accounts without loging in. You have to log in to do anything but is sometimes useful to just see the current balances. Check the settings in your app I would be surprised if it is in fact staying logged in for ever. CliveM (6007)

Not at all. I don't know who the user WMG is.

I'm not promoting the "apple way", I just know that banks always develop apps for iPhone first and Android second for a number of different reasons. I'm also picking that the issue with not being able to log out after a long period of inactivity by the user may have something to do with the way the code was written to record the log in session time and that the only way to solve it would be to email the developer and detail the issue so that they can fix it and give the user a better app.

1368413 2014-02-22 09:31:00 For the record I went into Apps and forced it to stop after 20 minutes. It's odd that the perpetrator didn't think to add a CLOSE button. (Or if he did he managed to hide it!) coldot (6847)

Well if the app or the store has a an option to contact the developer and send feed back I'd suggest you do that.
