1349916 2013-07-26 00:22:00 Mrs T has a rather nice item for sale but despite its attributes and low reserve, it is not attracting much attention .

There was no specific category for it within the generic listing group, so it was listed under "Other" but I have since observed that many similar (singlular) items are listed in the sub-category "Collections," so I have moved it there to see if we get a better response .

It had two or three Watchers, so my question is this: Is the auction number the key to its ID, so that watch-list items are still accessible even if moved to a different category, or will it now be unavailable from previous watchlist links?

Cheers

1349917 2013-07-26 00:29:00 I'm pretty sure the ID is the actual link; the URL with the categories in it would just be a wrapper (and the previous watchlist links would update accordingly). pcuser42 (130)

That is what I am hoping for, and it does seem logical, otherwise TM would potentially be disadvantaging users by allowing them to update their auction's profile and losing their watchers.

Cheers
