2013-07-24 12:23:00 | I used to be on a 160gb plan... I just checked and it seems my plan has been downgraded to a 120gb plan. I can't see any 120gb plans on Telecom's websites, other than the retired one I was on, however I had +20$ for an aditional 40gb? It looks like I just got screwed big time. Paying the same for less data? What I am paying now should entitle me to 500gb - and cost $5 less. People check your plans! Make sure you aren't being ripped off! Does anyone know when these plans were changed?

I have got mail every time Telecom has changed my plan, and the plan change has always been advantageous for me, never detrimental....I would suggest calling for confirmation to ensure you have your facts straight. |

2013-07-24 22:02:00 | My only complaint is that they don't always tell people for quite some time when they have new plans that are better and let them stay on the more expensive plans. I was on a 120Gb + 40Gb much like you mention and switched to the 150Gb plan which costs a little less than the 120 used to without the +40. I only discovered the cheaper plan by accident while browsing their website. When I switched I noted the plan I was on is no longer available for new customers as well. | dugimodo (138) | |
2013-07-24 22:33:00 | I've had telecom send or email out a notification every time they've mad plan changes, to notify me about the options etc so that I can change to a better plan for my needs if one is now available. Perhaps the postie lost your letter? They allow you to stay on retired plans as sometimes they include features which are $$ addons to the new plans etc. You'd be equally unhappy if they automatically migrated you to the new plan, but now the 2 hours free national toll calling you used to get was an extra $10/month or whatever. | inphinity (7274) | |
2013-07-25 00:27:00 | Some people probably unintentionally opt-out of receiving these new plan notification letters under the choice of not wanting to receive promotional letters etc because it might be 'spam' | Agent_24 (57) | |
