1349669 2013-07-24 02:07:00 I came across this interactive website

symptoms.webmd.com

I either have multiple sclerosis or muscle sprain. I hope it's the latter!

1349673 2013-07-24 06:33:00 That site would make a person with health anxiety even more anxious. They would focus on the worse of the possible diagnoses. Jen (38)

Not always. Son did this.
He concluded he had a blood clot.
I made comments hinting at hypochondria....he eventually got sent for scans and tests and yep, he didn't have 1, he had loads of clots.
He ended up on Warfarin, in fact he is still on it..

1349676 2013-07-24 19:54:00 I pointed it to my torn bicep ligaments and it said the suggested method of repair. It was almost word for word what my treatment consisted of. Its still not really fixed though and never will be gary67 (56)
1349677 2013-07-25 00:32:00 Might not be any worse than a real doctor, except cheaper... Agent_24 (57)
1349678 2013-07-25 00:48:00 Medical sites can be useful if used for the purpose intended, not as replacement for a visit to the doctor. Other helpful sites are Patient.co.uk and Mayo Clinic. Richard (739)
