1368988 2014-03-03 11:04:00 Thanks will give that a try when I go back onsite. Getting an IP address is not a problem though.
Was there today and found it worked fine if wireless security was off, gave the option for Home, Work or Public. Changed to WPA and WPA2 and went straight to Public and local access.
Change to another modem and connected fine with either WPA or WPA2.
Telecom sending another modem so will see when that arrives and report back.

The other laptop I will install the fix before I give it back and see if that sorts that one.

1368989 2014-03-03 18:53:00 There have been quite a few problems with Telecom Modems over the last few months, mainly with DNS settings and non connecting. Since everything works OK on another modem, it may be a case Vista simply doesn't like it to much with telecom Modems. wainuitech (129)
1368990 2014-03-03 23:33:00 Go to administrative tasks, local security policy, and down to network list manager policies....change the options in there for user to change network locations etc, change and reboot, then you can change your location... SolMiester (139)

1368995 2014-03-11 20:19:00 FYI
Both clients was resolved by a replacement modem.

Seems the security function didn't like something on Vista.
