Back in the 60's and 70's in England just about every woman had a home birth with just the midwife and a chosen helper or two in attendance My two were born in a hospital. There are midwives and midwives. At least in hospital there are/were others around to make sure any complications are/were dealt with immediately.	Marnie (4574)
