1368618 2014-02-24 19:50:00 I've got a situation where a preschool would like some software installed on a couple of their PCs that the kids are able to use. In the past I have used K9 Web Protection, and found it to be pretty good, but on both these PCs (Fairly old XP machines) it just won't run - keeps timing out and won't load pages etc.

Does anyone know of anything similar that would do the job?

Thanks. :)

1368619 2014-02-24 20:13:00 Have you tried all of these solutions ? www1.k9webprotection.com

XP is still supported, but Windows 2000 isn't. Just a thought, is the OS's out of date with service packs etc, if they are that may be causing a problem.

1368622 2014-02-25 01:38:00 You could also try the free Norton Family (onlinefamily.norton.com) software, which I prefer as it has a web based config so you can make access changes without having to physically go to the computer in question.
You can also have different access rights depending on what user logs into the computer.

Did I really just say I prefer Norton?? :horrified
