1350145 2013-07-30 04:43:00 Anyone here found a decent dispenser for this stuff? SWMBO insists we now use it as it doesn't make a scum on the tiles like soap did. I guess that's a good reason as she is the shower cleaner. The bottles this stuff comes in are a bit inconvenient, as you have to put the bottle somewhere (don't ask Cicero) after you have got a bit out to use. Anybody who uses this stuff will know immediately what I mean.

There must be a good dispenser available, other than those great big commercial things.

1350146 2013-07-30 06:01:00 What about the shower gel containers that can be suspended on a rope? Health Basics (http://www.healthbasics.co.nz/) does a great range. You can buy them in the supermarket and they are a NZ company. Jen (38)
1350147 2013-07-30 06:28:00 I second that Jen, those ones are great :D. They also have the advantage of being stored inverted, so much easier to get the last little bit out of the bottle. Erayd (23)
1350148 2013-07-30 06:34:00 I've been considering a shampoo, conditioner, and soap dispenser I saw in Bunnings or Mitre 10 mega (cant remember, shops are nearly identical here) but I'm a little concerned it'll not be very good or not hold enough and need filling all the time.
In the mean time I have a command adhesive plastic shower basket thing with the dispensers in it attached to the wall. I don't use shower gel, just liquid hand cleaner in a 500ml pump dispenser and it's wedged between my shampoo and conditioner bottles.

1350149 2013-07-30 06:36:00 I've been using Health Basics with the hanging hook for a two or three years. Just unclick the hook, click it on the other end and hang it somewhere handy. I've refilled the same container with other brands when supplies of HB run out.
(Sometimes I get mixed red/orange/green stripes until it settles down!)

1350153 2013-07-30 21:03:00 Not a fan of gels....I like my soap.

Tiles huh...I have tiles below the aqualine round my bath/shower.

Find it's easy to clean, Shower Power sprayed on, leave it, clean the rest of the bathroom, then go back and wash and rinse.

Shower cubicles, now that's another matter. I hate them.

But if you clean them all the time and don't leave it to build up in the first place it's a lot easier. Once it has built up, well....then it's a bit of a mission.

Not much different to oven cleaning really....

It's not the soap as such, it's the fat in soap....
