266063 2004-08-28 01:04:00 It is not necessary to use the camera's software in order to view and/or download your pictures with Windows XP. After plugging your camera in and switching it on you will be able to see your camera connection in Windows Explorer and drag and drop your picture files into your hard drive's picture folder. tommy (2826)

266065 2004-08-29 05:08:00 I have just purchased an Olympus camera also and the software is Camedia Master 4.2. Running XP Home. When the camera is connected, I noticed when I open explore, there is another drive listed. No driver is required. Also while on the subject, can you run a web cam from a camera ?. teddybear (2443)
