| 265957 | 2004-08-27 12:11:00 | He He. Had to laugh at some of the postings on PressF1 and people's general discontent with Telecom (even though Telecom are no laughing matter). Seems there are unlimited names for our favourite company. Ones I have come across on these forums: Telecom (very seldom used) The most common nicknames are: Telecon (a good play on words) Telescum (a little more derogatory) Also occasionally used: Telescam Telecrap Telecrum Can anyone suggest any others??? |

But unable to name the evil, incapable of identifying the forces of darkness we are unable to fight it and thus rendered no threat to their dominance. The world spins, seasons change, The machine that is Telecom rolls forever on. |

Bit like the K.G.B in all its past and present incarnations. |

On the other side of the coin, I talk to people overseas who have phones that are dead as often as they work, and does their telephone company care, or try and get everyone back on line quickly. Not on your Nellie, they are only interested in their profit. So ok, telecom might leave a bit, (a lot) to be desired, but I still think we have it better than a lot of countries. Ok, end of sermon, and no, I don't work for telecom, and if Clear ever come out to the whap whaps, I would be the first to check them out. LOL |

I have been with Telecom since the emerged from The NZ Post Office, and IMHO anyone that criticises them is having a whinge for the sake of it. I have yet to experience anything other than first-rate top level and extremely helpful service. If you don't like them, stop your boring whinging and switch to someone else. W**nk**s |
