2004-08-29 09:01:00 | Thanks to everyone for all the feedback. I have tried to put the ISP addresses in that the ZA blocks and identifies as ihug. However, it still doesn't work. The only site I can get to (for some strange reason) is the ASB login, but I noticed that it isn't a www instead it starts with fnc. Don't know why - I guess you computer whizzes out there will know. Anyway, I'm not sure what to do next - are there any other firewall programs out there that I should try? | Kirky (6081) | |

2004-08-29 09:38:00 | Tried the free version originally and upgraded to pro to see if that would fix the problems I was having - obviously didn't or I wouldn't be here! I have disabled the adblocking but doesn't seem to make any difference. The log seems to show that it isn't blocking ihug any more, just all sorts of things from all over the place (eg Thailand) that probably are suspect. Thanks for all the help.

2004-08-29 15:38:00 | From experience, it may be something as simple as your browser not having permission to access the internet. Look in ZA's Program Control, Programs Tab. I don't know how it happened, but it did ,to me. Vince | Vince (406) | |

2004-08-29 20:59:00 | As far as I can tell, that all seems to be OK. | Kirky (6081) | |
2004-08-30 00:03:00 | i don't think its a firewall issue. tho strange that it all works with the firewall off. sounds like a browser problem. i would try a repair of IE. also have a look at this (pressf1.pcworld.co.nz)
