| 266573 | 2004-08-29 06:32:00 | i am thinking of buying a Pioneer 108 Black OEM 16x DVD writer, 16x DVD-R, 16x DVD+R, 4x DVD-RW, 4x DVD+RW, 4x DVD+DL (dual layer), 32x CD-R, 24x CD-RW. what i want to know is if i burn a dvd with the 4x DVD+DL (dual layer) can i play it in a dvd player. |

| 266574 | 2004-08-29 07:26:00 | I guess u can only try and see what happens. Ive only got a 4x 106D. And usually burn in either DVD+ or -. The stereo DVD seems to play both. You could try www.google.com or www.yahoo.com with the same question see what comes up. |

| 266575 | 2004-08-29 08:45:00 | From what I've read so far, dual layer burning can be a bit hit and miss as you'd expect from new technology. Some players will cope better than others and it will get better in time once drivers and media mature. Be aware that DVD media can vary a great deal and what may work with my burner/player combo may not work with yours. Trial and error is the only sure way to know. | Sb0h (3744) | ||
