267638 2004-08-31 23:20:00 This message appears every morning after I turn my PC on. I've sent it to Microsoft via error reporting, but nothing ever gets resolved. I re-installed windows in the hope it would fix itself, but no joy, it was back again this morning here's the details
C:\WINDOWS\Minidump\Mini083104-03.dmp
C:\DOCUME~1\Mum\LOCALS~1\Temp\WER14.tmp.dir00\sysd ata.xml
I'm Mum and I'm the only user, Stumped.
Its XP Professional.

267639 2004-08-31 23:30:00 Does the window with this error appear only?? Or does the system reboot when u get on it most mornings?? I would install SP1, or SP2 to see if that fixes it. If it's rebooting all the time, it's usually something to do with either hardware which is failing or it maybe software, something like a corrupted driver, which is loading, when you boot up the computer.

Try booting in safe mode a few times. Does the same thing happen?? If NOT, then it's definitely something that maybe software-based thats causing the problem.

That error alone (with a window), without rebooting, is a common issue with XP. Or you could try this fix

support.microsoft.com

Or the direct download site to the same fix above

267641 2004-09-01 00:49:00 Well Safe Mode is OK. So after the 5hrs 45min it says it will take to download SP2 I'll find out if that works. The wee patch didn't. Timewarp (5962)
