267515 2004-08-31 13:35:00 Yeah, if scanning for email or posting only I use 75 or 100 dpi then scale with pixels. If I want to print, and especially if I want to enlarge, I'll up the dpi but rarely past 600 and mostly much less.

If they've started as digital images I tend to just work on the pixels then scale to mm for printing.

As long as the picture is in My Pictures folder it works . This folder contains links to specialised picture tasks .

Go into XP's Help and Support Centre, type "My Pictures" [without the "s] and when list of results show up, choose 'to send photo in email' .
This describes the procedure Rob was talking about .
If the above comes up on your computer then it will work for you .

I have it on my Windows XP Home but I am not sure if it is because I have Windows XP Powertoys installed . If you cannot find that option on your computer you can download the Image Resizer Powertoy from Microsoft's site here . another question, this resize option can you have it set at a preset size to always save at this size? never really done any resizing before.

or what screen size is this?
