| 267515 | 2004-08-31 13:35:00 | Yeah, if scanning for email or posting only I use 75 or 100 dpi then scale with pixels. If I want to print, and especially if I want to enlarge, I'll up the dpi but rarely past 600 and mostly much less. If they've started as digital images I tend to just work on the pixels then scale to mm for printing. Cheers Murray P |

This folder contains links to specialised picture tasks . Go into XP's Help and Support Centre, type "My Pictures" [without the "s] and when list of results show up, choose 'to send photo in email' . This describes the procedure Rob was talking about . If the above comes up on your computer then it will work for you . Hope that helps . Thanks for that tip Rob, didn't know until you mentioned it and I went looking for it . Marg . |

I have it on my Windows XP Home but I am not sure if it is because I have Windows XP Powertoys installed . If you cannot find that option on your computer you can download the Image Resizer Powertoy from Microsoft's site here . ( . microsoft . com/windowsxp/downloads/powertoys/xppowertoys . mspx" target="_blank">www . microsoft . com) |
