I think K Lite is so good you should try it again... maybe uninstall and reinstall?

267493 2004-09-01 22:18:00 Sorry Metla, my mistake. I thought that under that irascible exterior you actually had a self-deprecating sense of humour and were trying to show it. I was wrong, I admit it, I apologise, and I won't make that mistake again.

267494 2004-09-02 01:39:00 I thought it was a joke as well. Just a tip Spence - use emoticons. They take the sting out of comments and can reinforce the tone. We can all misinterpret posts - as happened here. ;)

And as for the question, I use Kazza-Lite++ with no problems. But it is always interesting to hear of other peoples recommendations.

Do a search because I think this topic was discussed in the past 3 months.

I concur with that, noticed that pretty quickly myself.

Incidentally Kazaa Lite isn't as good as it used to be, the network is flooded with misnamed files, and corrupted versions of popular songs - so much so that for me and most people I know they spent more time downloading dud material than getting what they were after so stopped using it.

267496 2004-09-02 03:57:00 Thanks Winston, I'll do that in future. I didn't actually realise that little pictures were necessary to explain words. :D

267497 2004-09-02 03:58:00 Don't use them myself, but have 2 boys that do. Seems that the flavours of the day are DC++ and Shareza.

I would have to ask, but I think the Shareza can hook into e-donkey and Nutella networks. I know they mentioned that a lot of downloads from Kazaa were faulty or infected, so they gave up.

267498 2004-09-02 04:02:00 Your words were understood perfectly.

Your not half as clever as you think you are,a sledge is a sledge no matter what words you dress it up in.
