| 267708 | 2004-09-01 02:54:00 | Hi folks, I'm having problems with a Samsung CD Burner running on WIndows XP. EVerythnig was fine, until I decided to install a Pioneer DVD Burner. To start with, I had the Samsung as a Master, and another CD Rom drive as a slave. I removed said CD Rom and installed the DVD player as the Slave. Everything seemed to work fine, but now sometimes when I boot up, the Samsung will open. When this happens, I can't use it later, either. I go to put in a CD, and it refuses it, and openes up again. SHould I reconfigure the DVD Burner as the master, and the samsung as the slave? Also, when I click on a .txt file, it won't seem to open now, even though .txt files are associated with Notepad. I have checked this in the registry as well. I have run Norton's and can't find any virus's Any help would be appreciated. Da5id |
