| 268335 | 2004-09-02 08:41:00 | I have just setup my Windows XP agiain after it got messed up by sp2. Its all worked fine except I got a message that it couldn't find "c:\windows\system32\tools\DelFolders.exe" which does not exist. I ran Adaware and AVR but nothing. Looked up the Registry and found "RunOnce" (as shown on "Msconfig") but the only entry was Default. I deleted the Value leaving it blank and all is now well. The weird thing is that when I unticked the entry in "msconfig" it came back again. What is "DelFolder.exe"? Sounds bad. Does anyone know? |

| 268337 | 2004-09-03 13:13:00 | Spybot told me that this was a greeby called "GoldenPalace.Casino". This proved to be untrue. The missing file "delfolders.exe" is used in some Chinese & Japanese motherboards. It is on the CD supplied with the motherboard. Just copy it into " c:\windows\system32\tools\" and Bob's your Aunt :) The file has a square red Ikon with Chinese script on it. |
