| 268255 | 2004-09-02 09:07:00 | has it always taken this long to start up ?? > I would like to know why I have been to msconfig and checked load up >programs(not many)Is there a program that will tell me what is" loading->running" that I can install i can't tell you WHY you have been to msconfig but its a good thing :-) msconfig will tell you (basicly) what is "loading-running". otherwise msinfo32 under software/running tasks will tell you whats running. what programs have you got listed in startup (in msconfig) ?? |

| 268256 | 2004-09-03 08:13:00 | I started to get annoyed with my computer and slow load times as well. In my case its due to services loading, which isnt necessarily shown as a startup program being a service. It may be worth checking, cases will vary. Try to look at visual clues to see if it will help determine delays. Virus scanners sometimes do a partial scan on starting. |
