| 268007 | 2004-09-01 11:15:00 | Dual booting shouldn't affect the performance of either OS, unless of course you're restricting disk space to either of them (due to having 2x OS installed). Remember though that its easier to dual boot those two if you install 98 first, then install XP. Mike. |

| 268008 | 2004-09-01 11:19:00 | Greetings, Welcome to PressF1! Performance wont be changed by Dual-Booting, as both OS's are independant, you wont be running both concurrently. Windows XP will run fairly well, as it _apparently_ is optimised for the AthlonXP CPU. You'll want a good 512 Ram to make things run at their best though. Its a breeze to setup too, just install Win98, leave some un-partitioned space for XP and you're set! Cheers Chill. |
