| 268916 | 2004-09-03 12:12:00 | Some of the MPG files I have when played in Windows Media Player- version 9 run in a very fast forward and only the 1st 40 seconds or so of the movie is played before the slide bar reaches the end. If I stop it and click at any point the movie will jump to that point but then I can only play the next few seconds before it hits the end of the slide bar again. I guess it is a Codec issue, but how do I find the correct codecs to play the movies correctly? Most play properly but some are having issues Win XP Pro 512Mb I did download GSPOT as mentioned in a previous thread but this appears only to be for AVI's? It said the pc has something like 40 video and 28 audio codecs currently loaded. |
