| 268448 | 2004-09-02 20:46:00 | Well I did it too. Used Bruce's disc and updated the wife's laptop. No problems, except when "the boss" decided to fire up the lapie again - did not want to start up, did not accept password (tried 3 times, beeped 3 times and reverted back to start up screen). I switched it off and started up again - no problems. Just wonder what may have been the problem? For an old geezer and a newbie I felt quite chuffed with the faultless installation, until the boss came in and told me never to touch her laptop again (after the above little problem) - and some of you will remember my previous b*ggerups with this lappie. :D Sarel |
