| 269422 | 2004-09-05 06:25:00 | Before installing SP2 I took yuour advice to heart and tried to backup as per your article (Usually just copy). XP Backup installed with no problem but it would not put the file on a CD. Told me file name was wrong. However I copies to C drive then burned it to CD without problem. What did I do wrong?? David |

| 269423 | 2004-09-05 06:35:00 | XP backup does not recognise a CD as a backup device, it expects a read-write device. What you did was correct however, copy to the HDD then to the CD. |
