| 269388 | 2004-09-05 04:48:00 | I have two CD's which have been in their case too long and the foam separation has stuck to each name side of the CD.. I have used my finger nails to scratch off but THERE MUST BE A BETTER WAY....but what PLEASE. | olldaddy76 (2539) | ||

Directly under the printed surface is where the data layer is. Its read from the other side, but ang scratches that are made to the label side will permanently destroy the data. They cannot be polished out as they can on the underside. Warm soapy water is the safest in my opinion. Then rinse in plain water and dry. |

In all experience a little soap and water never hurt any discs I've cleaned, however if the foam has eaten it's way in then it could be all over. What kind of CD case has foam in it anyway!? |
