| 269311 | 2004-09-04 20:56:00 | The following is a message I received from a friend who is running Windows ME . She uses Trend PcCillin and also has Adaware . Trend has been telling her for a couple of days about this infected file . Nothing else picks it up . I wondered if she could go back a few days and use the Restore function that ME has and she could restore back to before she started getting the message . Would this work? I'm not that familiar with ME myself . So any suggestions/help would be appreciated What can I do with a virus that Trend keeps picking up? Infected file C:\_RESTORE\ARCHIVE\FS42 . CAB (W0204338 . CPY) Virus name TROJ_FUNWEB . A Status Unable to clean or quarantine |

| 269312 | 2004-09-04 21:09:00 | Hi Iris, Using System Restore should work fine so long as a restore had been created previous to those warnings of infected files. Has your friend tried an online scan from the Symantec website for example? Others may have more ideas. Pauline. |
