269427 2004-09-05 07:01:00 What OS do you have? When you say you have deleted Outlook Express, do you just mean the desktop icon and Start Menu entry, or did you use Control Panel > Add/Remove to uninstall Outlook Express? Jen C (20)
269428 2004-09-06 09:40:00 Thanks for asking.

I uninstall it by mistake. I am using windows XP Home Edition.

Is there any where to download it.

269429 2004-09-06 10:30:00 You could try a system restore click start /all programs /accessories/system restore go back to before you uninstalled OE
or try thisClick Start/ Run/ and type sfc /scannow in the /Open box.
(Note that there is a space between sfc and /scannow)
get your xp cd ready as it will ask for it.

269431 2004-09-06 14:09:00 Now's your chance, salvation is at hand. Go to the Thunderbird (www.mozilla.org) site and get a great email client. You can even import your Outlook Express address book.

269432 2004-09-06 14:21:00 If you just want to reinstate the Outlook Express programme, that's one thing. You're getting advice on it.
If you want to rescue your files & folders which contain saved emails ( and Address Book), that's another thing.
I got good advice on that here when I accidentally deleted my Address Book & appeared to have lost everything I'd been keeping. It got reinstated after help from several people.
If that's your case, better make it clear that you want to find the contents - not just get the programme back..
