As stated in the subject, there is no internet connection - I cannot use IE to browse the web, - I cannot ping anything on the web, - I cannot ping the dsl modem. - I can (or could) see, ping, browse PCs on the internal network. Details: Windows 2003 Server with 2 nics: Nic 1: Externel (Internet) connection: IP: 192.168.1.100 Gateway: 192.168.1.1 (dsl modem) Nic 2: Internal (network) connection: IP: 10.0.0.10 Gateway: none Using RRAS for IP routing and ISA Server for firewall. I have run the internet connection wizard and setup a static route for traffic from nic2 (internal) to nic1 (external). I have deleted all ISA settings and entered default "Allow all traffic" ones. Any suggestions (other than change to Linux - not an option)?? |

It appears that the those two NICs are connected to the same local area network, and I'm guessing that the router is on the same physical network too... Can other computers with the same settings ping outside with that gateway? What are you DNS servers? |

| 269668 | 2004-09-06 08:05:00 | Hi, Check out www.isaserver.org, very handy site. I have had many issues caused by the routing config on the ISA server, the LAT can be a real pain too. The first thing to do though would be to check that the IP address of the DSL modem is correct and that you can connect to it without ISA running? cheers m |
