269550 2004-09-05 12:05:00 I have noticed in other forums that some people are having issues with their multifunction printers after downloading SP2, I got a fix from another website and thought I would post it here to help anyone else :O)

Use the search to find and edit the file MPNETIPC.INI, change 127.0.0.2 in this file to 127.0.0.1, this will fix your problems. the file should be located in \windows\system32

269553 2004-09-06 02:02:00 I saw that posting or a similar, but I can't remember now to which Canon printer it applied. I have a Canon MP7000, and I found that file name did not exist in my system, but it turned out that the printer functioned ok with SP2, so no problems Terry Porritt (14)
