| 269928 | 2004-09-06 23:22:00 | Hi, My friend has a compaq notebook that is frozen after booting up and she cannot reset it. ctrl alt del doesn't work and she doesn't know how to hard reset it. Does anyone know how to reset these notebooks? |

| 269929 | 2004-09-06 23:29:00 | Hold down the power button for a few seconds. Battery has probally run down by now anyhow. Some laptops also have a recessed button underneath for a hard reset,no idea why though,power button works fine. |
