| 269874 | 2004-09-06 12:58:00 | It's an "Adult Entertainment" dialer, chances are it installed iteslf on your computer for one of the following reasons: 1. You're using an unpatched version of Internet Explorer (or IE in general) 2. You were visiting adult sites and clicked yes to something 3. Illegal software sites 4. Dodgy P2P downloads. Easiest way to avoid, don't visit porn sites and use an alternative browser. If you insist on viewing porn, buy a membership somewhere reputable (you may need a separate credit card so the wife doesn't find out). Removal, delete the connectoid - if it comes back you will need to look at items in Start Up and the aforementioned SpyBot et al. |
