270384 2004-09-08 12:08:00 Some of you may have noticed I have been quieter than my usual quiet self and thats the reason why.

The Wife gave me a pretty good fathers day present in the form of an 8.5 pound girl. This will be daughter no 3 and then 4th child in the family. Sadly this will mean buying a people mover also as the trusty little hatchback will not fit 6........bugger it all there goes what tiny shreds of image I had left.

People moovers aren't so bad , you could always get one for the wife / kids , and maybe a dedicated 2 seater [ MX5 leaps to mind] for yourself ...
geez I hope the Missus doesn't see that ..
And well done !!! :)

NO! Resist! Take two cars everywhere . The less of those people movers on the road the better . . .

Don't even get me started on 4WD vehicles .

270389 2004-09-08 12:23:00 Nothing wrong with 4wd's,Stupidity will cause death no matter what they drive .

Unless your anti because they are trendy,in which case i would suggest dedicating a second of thought to trends is a waste of brainpower .

A people mover is something like this (www.tozaitrading.com)

I'm so not going to be drawn out on the 4WD thing.

Stupidity needs to cause a little more death to restore some balance.

It's not actually the vehicles I have the problem with, nor the trend, but the lack of driving ability and apalling road attitude of the majority of the people (read: housewives and yuppies) driving them. If you are going to drive a big vehicle, and they are big vehicles, you should be capable of driving it safely.

So ends my participation in this thread.

Congrats on the new addition to the family.
