| 270296 | 2004-09-08 05:40:00 | I am running Win XP just installed trial version of PCillin and gettting the following error message *** STOIP: 0xC0000008E (0xC0000005,0x804E3D6E,0xF6D448C0,0x00000000) Am told to press F8 and start in safe mode back keep coming back to the same error screen. Any clues? |

| 270298 | 2004-09-08 08:32:00 | Hey Percy, Do you know how to enter safe mode? You'll need to successfully get into here to remove the newly installed program. Does that error message give you a system file that caused it, as well? If it's due to the installation of the new program, then it's possibly conflicting with the OS somehow. You should remove the program and see if the problem persists, if it continues to happen even after uninstalling newly installed programs, then it could quite possibly be faulty memory. KK |
