270239 2004-09-08 00:50:00 At the office we have a Nokia M1122 and I've been trying to get Asherons call to work for a year. (Quality lunch breaks) You can open and shut and forward ports all day and... nothing. So.. as replacing the router isnt practical (its well configured for other stuff) can anyone think of a way I can have another internet connection into my office? 56k modems too slow through the PABX, Whoosh doesnt cover the area, and a seperate router and dsl line directly into my office also seems a little extreme! I dont suppose theres any way to have another router working on the same line with a direct network cable to my office? SimonKiwi (6133)
270240 2004-09-08 01:02:00 Some offices have / use digital phonelines. So, even if u tried to get a 56k running. It could fry that modem, (since its most probably analog), if u try and run a 56k on a digital line. Spacemannz (808)
