270191 2004-09-07 12:18:00 Don't think I will. I'm only the Surf 256 plan, and these things happen from time to time.

270193 2004-09-07 12:45:00 Hey there bro...

I'm with Orcon [256k] , and McCafee speed test thingy says

259.52 Kbs

so a] Orcon providing the bandwidth I'm paying for and b] how come you Telecon dudes are getting full-speed?:|
KatiMike (242)
270194 2004-09-07 12:53:00 Today my Jetsream speed has fluctuated between 32kps and 64kps.
I phoned Telecom to ask if they had a fast speed promotion on, get you hooked on the fast speed, but they knew nothing. Very nice while it lasts :)

I think they probably switch you over when your usual server is under repair.

270196 2004-09-07 13:09:00 It happens to people all the time, most probably don't even notice. Certainly nothing to get that excited about.

The only prolonged one I'm aware of is a mate who's folks are paying for JetStart, however since the changeover to the new "QoS enabled" DSLAM's (Nokia --> Alcatel) they have been on full speed uncapped, so thats going on maybe 9 months or longer now.

Well heck, that sounds like something to get excited about ...
