270015 2004-09-07 03:27:00 Hi all
Have got jetstream on now, so I have more time to surf the web as I'm not getting frustrated having to wait for web pages to load only the have the “page can’t be found” error, etc. After doing the usual rounds of the places I frequent, I was suddenly at a loss as to where to go next. So my question is - once you start surfing the net, how do you decide which direction to take, what sites to go to and how do you get there. Do you type random words into google and see where it takes you. Suggestions please.

270016 2004-09-07 03:38:00 ??? Depends where and what u want to get. You use a browser.

Or you could use google or Yahoo to search for whatever you're after.

But depending on which Jetstream plan ya on, you have to watch your usage, if you're not on unlimited.

270019 2004-09-07 05:42:00 Trawl for (legitimately) free software that you can use to replace the paid for stuff.
ie. OpenOffice, FileZilla, etc.

270020 2004-09-07 05:47:00 Now that the pages you are interested in load so much faster, you'll have lots more time to spend away from the damn computer.

You don't have to use all the bandwidth. ;-)

The sun's shining where I am. Enjoy it.
