I've no problem with people recommending sites and services - even their own - in direct response to a question . But when someone posts something like you did out of the blue, it looks just like an ad and I don't think any of us want the forum opened up to ad posts . When you posted the same material a second time, but in a different manner, it seemed to me like you were just trying to manipulate the rules . I had only the word of your then user-id persona that you weren't making any gain out of it (and please remember I have no idea who most of you are or aren't, including alternative F1 personas), and frankly, do you think I should trust the word of an anonymous poster on something like that after they posted what looks and sound like a baltant ad? I'd no intention of offending you, I'm merely trying to keep the forum on some kind of even keel . I'm not going to delete all your posts from all your alternate ids, that's just silly . I suggest we just forget the whole thing and move on . Cola - I seriously do not know what your probelm is . I was sent by email the very insulting post you made which the Moderator editing out before I saw the other week . Not very impressed . Just as I was not very impressed with you attempting to post my home address . Your response to my offer for you to come up here and do the same abuse face to face was was to say I wasn't worth your time, and yet here you are doing it again . So I guess I'm worth just a little bit of your time after all . You pushed you luck once to often in being abusive to other users and got banned for it . Since then you have launched repeated personal attacks on me . Here's a little tip . If you thought your banning was unjustified, and unfair in relation to our treatment of other users what you could have done (as as been done by other people in the past) is emailed me . Aplogised for your behaviour . Made your case for why it wasn't bad enough to get you banned . Promised not to do it again . In other words, be mature . Instead you chose to do what you are doing now . I suggest you stop it, walk away and do something else . Or you could set up a new id, and behave like a mature person . I really don't care which . Since you are well aware that you can simply set up a new id and carry on posting at Pressf1, the accusation that I'm favouring some kind of clique is pretty thin . Behave yourself under a new user id and I'll have no reason to ban it . The choice is yours . |
