I have had TWO factory heat sinks stick to P4 chips good and proper!! the screw driver was required both times to seperate them. Intels claims that the pads will not stick to the CPU are crap and the two times it has happened to me is proof of that. Both pads where NOT scratched. After removing the pads and putting some silver paste on no more problems. I have also had those pads stick on power transistors and it seems over heating is the cause. |
