| 1370248 | 2014-03-15 04:40:00 | HI One of my friends is on broadband (UFB actually) and its all working - but not very fast) But sometimes he gets asked to connect to his old dialup connection, which he has not used for years, I have hunted around everywhere, but I cannot see where to remove it as a network connection on Vista. Any suggestions ? Thanks |

| 1370253 | 2014-03-16 04:42:00 | Have heard ( dont know if its true or not) that UFB takes a while to settle down and gain speed - Seems a bit odd, but I know with Telstra/Vodafone cable as soon as any changes are made, it can be instant (within a minute any way) Last time I did with a change here, the Telstra service guy changed the plan and it took a few seconds. ( he had a direct line to "the people in the know") | wainuitech (129) | ||

( he had a direct line to "the people in the know") UFB should run fine straight off. VDSL has a DLM training service so can take time to optimise. If the UFB is not right, maybe it dropped off causing an alternative (dialler) to be called??? (Straw grasping here!!). |
