1370209 2014-03-14 08:56:00 A friend of mind has a new HP all in one. when he logs in at start up screen the password box adds a dash in front on his password ie if his password was help then when he types the "h" he get two **

When you view the password it would look like "-help" if he goes back and deletes the dash in front of the password he is then able to enter the correct password and login.
TIA Wayne

1370210 2014-03-14 09:27:00 What happens when he types normally in say a text document (use wordpad if theres no other office product installed), does it put the - as well in (use the actual password to type in as a test) wainuitech (129)
1370211 2014-03-14 21:29:00 No problem with typing emails etc I have check the keyboard to seen if i could cause the issue by typing the first letter of there password, it seems to only happen when they first login and the first time they search in say the google search box. After that its okay.
Thanks Wayne
