I have freshly installed the latest version of Google Chrome, but I don't find many options in context menu when I right-click any word or URL address after slecting that. Before, I remmeber that I had the option of searching a word in Google and also opening a URL address in new tab. Now I only see three options: Copy, Print, and Inspect element. Why so? |

Okay, I solved this problem myself! I had actually installed from the site filehippo to avoid a long wait for online installation from the Google site, but later I uninstalled that and downloaded an offline installer from the Google site. Later I updated it. Now the options are available in context menu! |

You can go here. And it'll always download the latest / full install (www.google.com) |

Yes, Gonzales! This is exactly the site where I downloaded the file and installed. |

Don't install well known programs from 3rd party sites, they often bundle crapware, if not malware |

^^ this... It's likely a bundled plugin. You should check your Extensions and see what's enabled, coz it's going to be something 3rd-party... |
