1369372 2014-03-04 04:18:00 I've got to complete a document tonight and to do that I have to convert a PDF to word.

I've looked at a few but they either carry a payload!! or restrict to two or three pages only.

Suggestions with a file name or URL welcome. On line conversion is fine.

Cheers

Sadly I don't have Office 2013 and I'd already tried Nitro and it only does two pages free.

Bummer!

1369375 2014-03-04 04:53:00 how many pages is it?? if you want send it to me and I'll save it as a word doc Speedy Gonzales (78)
1369376 2014-03-04 05:07:00 Thanks Speedy, but a rethought Google Search brought up Unipdf and it even warns you about the add-ons before you install it so you just get the clean and very professional looking interface.

Converted a big PFF very quickly, but wouldn't touch the second PDF I wanted though,-it needed a password, yet you can open it on screen ok!

Cheers

You can protect PDFs with a password, to stop people from making changes to them, and you won't see this password unless you try to edit the PDF in PDF editor or convert it to another format like Word.

Well that sounds about right, it was a university research paper; not recent and not exactly rocket science! Everything else the guy has done has been downloadable and convertable.

Maybe I'll print to PDF then try to convert to word, that might crack it

1369380 2014-03-08 18:32:00 Try convertii.com

It gives you the first few PDF conversions for free, and works really well especially with academic papers.

Hope that helps :)
