1351127 2013-08-12 09:10:00 I wasn't in the mood to chat ... I mentioned that I have a apple and they told me to wait. Just hanged up. Never thought I would receive such a call.... Nomad (952)
1351128 2013-08-12 11:21:00 Was that your first call? I've lost count how many I've had now. I have given up on the 'playing dumb' trick and just tell them I don't have a computer - gets them off the phone in double-quick time. Jen (38)

One woman phoned up saying she was from Microsoft in Auckland. I told her I worked there too (don't) and wasn't that a co-incidence! I suggested we meet up for lunch and everything, but she stuck to her script so got points for persistence.

1351131 2013-08-12 12:24:00 I stopped trying to be tricky and don't care to be polite. I just hang up as soon as I realise what it is and don't say anything.
You could try to string them along or give them an earful but really why waste your effort, they don't care.

1351132 2013-08-12 19:45:00 Never had one of those calls, maybe the trick is to move house every year like we have for the past 2 years gary67 (56)
1351133 2013-08-12 21:47:00 I tried to get them to do a remote login to my Virtual Box Mint install, but they insisted I should have a different pop-up dialog box after running ShowMyPC. They're just no fun any more! Renegade (16270)
1351134 2013-08-12 22:50:00 I wondering if there is a way to give them a complicated linux box that would let them remote in and see how they donkey up ....
