| 1350958 | 2013-08-09 00:57:00 | Hi guys, we lost our WAN connect and internet last night while trying to authorise banking payments, so the boss wanted to use the iPad on the backup ADSL, however ANZ direct uses Java which has some right mouse context menus for authorising....and of course couldnt work out how to do this... Anybody have any ideas....we tried the touch and hold but no use... |

| 1350959 | 2013-08-09 01:02:00 | ANZ don't have a mobile banking app? How 1980... I believe the closest an iPad can manage to a right-click is tap-and-hold which in some circumstances will display a context menu. Whether it's the context menu you want is another story ;) |

| 1350962 | 2013-08-09 04:06:00 | I've had the same problem on an android tablet and online stores, just can't use some websites without a mouse. Luckily my tablet has a keyboard dock with a touchpad so I can usually make it work - but even then it's sometimes awkward. Tried looking for an App? |

Just used my Android Tablet and you log in the exact same way as per a Computer - straight in no problems at all, you have user name and password to fill in, no right clicking required, even while doing a transaction ( transferred some $$ between accounts). OR is it yet another function iPads cant do ?? :p |

Maybe a better explanation of whats actually being attempted would explain the problem better. iPads are not the bee-knees in some uses, they simply cant handle some functions - Thats apple for ya ;) Steve jobs once quoted "Java's not worth building in. Nobody uses Java anymore. It's this big heavyweight ball and chain." :tui: Seems the rest of the world didn't totally agree with that :) Some sites say you can go to the App store and buy a java App, but not owning ( or ever will) an iPad Cant confirm that. |
