2013-08-25 02:59:00 | How constant? Mine re-synced multiple times in the first few days (I assume from DLM) before it became stable. Current uptime sits at almost 21 days. | Agent_24 (57) | |

2013-08-25 04:13:00 | That does sound a bit more than mine. But I am certainly no expert in VSDL. Maybe wait until the 10 days is up and if it's still doing it, give them a call? I assume you had your wiring all checked etc when it was installed?

I assume you had your wiring all checked etc when it was installed? You're on to it.4th phone call in 2 days, two resets of modem, then at the end of last conversation lady tells me about the 10 days. Even after many times telling them it was a new connection. Apparently I was meant to have been told this when I first signed up. And if their had I would have accepted it. Oh well |

2013-08-25 04:45:00 | Wiring was a different ball game, on the old setup the jack point is in the kitchen and I had an extension cord running into the lounge. The bit of paper that came with the modem said to avoid extensions, so after lots of convincing got the tech to run a new line in from outside to where the modem was being placed, lets just say he wasn't to impressed at first until I pointed out their bet practice. The fact I live in an old house the telephone wiring was dodgy at best, o new cable from the outside gives me a little confidence | plod (107) | |
2013-08-25 05:05:00 | Well if it's on a new cable run I suppose that shouldn't be the problem, of course you could always have some crap wiring outside though. But I guess it's best to wait for DLM to do the 10-day thing and see what happens after that. | Agent_24 (57) | |
2013-08-26 01:00:00 | DLM continues to run though even after 10 days from what I've seen. If you're still getting disconnects today, I'd ring them and complain, it shouldn't be that bad. | Chilling_Silence (9) | |
2013-08-26 02:41:00 | Yeah but after the initial 10 day period it only makes changes (if necessary) once a week, I believe. In the first 10 days it can be every day or more. | Agent_24 (57) | |
2013-08-26 03:18:00 | I will give them the 10days. Because I'm a nice guy;). | plod (107) | |
