| 1351215 | 2013-08-16 03:54:00 | Never! Well not yet anyway. They've released a Webkit version for Windows but not for Linux, when the Webkit version for Linux arrives, I'll ditch it. From pioneers to dipshits, I hope Presto is forked and released under an open source license. What do you have against Webkit? |

| 1351217 | 2013-08-16 09:29:00 | What do you have against Webkit? Absolutely nothing. I do have a lot against Opera for killing Presto though. After all the ingenuity over the past decades, they just gave up and surrendered to the might of Google. :( If Opera using WebKit or Blink is ever released for linux, I'll probably switch to Chromium. A monopoly always sucks. |

| 1351218 | 2013-08-19 01:42:00 | Well, in addition to Chrome I'm using opera 15 on Windows 7, and Opera 12.16 on Xubuntu. I personally prefer Opera 15, its much more responsive. Haven't noticed any problems with how it renders pages either.... Any reason you prefer Presto over Webkit, given the Webkit is open source while Presto isn't? |

| 1351219 | 2013-08-19 01:54:00 | Hmm, had a slightly deeper look at the differences, and I can see why you'd prefer Opera 12 - Opera 15 isn't quite ready yet, hopefully those missing features will be added soon. | Nick G (16709) | ||
| 1351220 | 2013-08-19 02:01:00 | I use Firefox, IE or Chrome. Whatever works best for a site or even a game within a site. | Marnie (4574) | ||

Like I said, nothing really against webkit/blink/whatever per se. My problem is the Opera 15 is terrible. For instance what kind of moron decided to ditch bookmarks? Kill a universal keyboard shortcut CONTROL + ENTER? This an amateur effort if not downright sabotage... They will be bought out by Google within 2 years, for next to nothing. They are going to lose their faithful following, if they haven't already. |

Sadly just not good enough :( Hopefully they do add these features back soon. |

| 1351223 | 2013-08-20 10:34:00 | That's the thing these are the most basic of features, and no one ever trying Opera 15 is ever likely to return. This was the browser that pioneered a whole heap of features that were coppied by every single browser out there and now it comes up with the mess. What a shame. |
