How risky is the loss of self-esteem from interacting with your bank via social media? I just couldn't imagine Facebook+Banking....hell, I don't do Facebook at all, never mind to bank. But self-esteem??? What it's not cool or something, the shame if your friends found out? |

Dont need to go to FB or twitter or anywhere else, to ask / or interact with them. Its not the end of the world, if I dont talk to them (well I dont anyway) lol. The only thing I do is check to see how much money I've got left. Which I can check by ringing or I can go online. |

But just haven't embraced internet FB banking etc. I don't see a need of it. Could just make a call to telephone banking and not even use the Internet. I don't really need to keep a track of their money before they make a purchase, yeah that has been advertised. Who knows what goes on in the background of FB cyber world linked to the bank ....... I have a few bank likes on FB but there really isn't much promotion etc. It's more just marketing their appeal to you like the BNZ puts the fact that they care for their workers during the Welly Earthquake ... like all staff take care or contact your peoples leader blah blah or what sort of charity they are helping or what celebrity or all blacks poster boy they got to rubb shoulders with. For the companies, I like AA Smartfuel Saver b/c they do have promotions and when they do I go out and get fuel. Or the AirNZ specials... |
