1350968 2013-08-10 02:23:00 Java is a big bloated mess and I hope it dies :p

It is useful for custom business applications, but should be kept well away from the internet & is far too slow for mainstream applications. If it wasn't for the Unifi controller software using it, I wouldn't have java on any of my PCs.

1350969 2013-08-11 21:02:00 Eh ???? What part needs right mouse context menus for authorising ???

Just used my Android Tablet and you log in the exact same way as per a Computer - straight in no problems at all, you have user name and password to fill in, no right clicking required, even while doing a transaction ( transferred some $$ between accounts).

OR is it yet another function iPads cant do ?? :p

I think the business account website is different from the consumer website...there are heaps of right click menus in business website...

1350970 2013-08-11 21:05:00 Sol mentioned ANZ direct - the business ANZ I would assume, thats what I have as well, the Android works fine .

No right clicking for anything required . Maybe a better explanation of whats actually being attempted would explain the problem better .

iPads are not the bee-knees in some uses, they simply cant handle some functions - Thats apple for ya ;)

Steve jobs once quoted "Java's not worth building in . Nobody uses Java anymore . It's this big heavyweight ball and chain . "

:tui:

Seems the rest of the world didn't totally agree with that :) Some sites say you can go to the App store and buy a java App, but not owning ( or ever will) an iPad Cant confirm that .

Batch authorisations etc . . . . . guess you dont dont that . . .

Nope, but neither does the iPad by the looks :p

Use a Android Tablet or some other OS that can handle it - problem solved ;)

Many people I've spoken to, are saying iPads simply cant do certain things on the internet and thats why they have chosen to go with Android devices instead.
