1370286 2014-03-15 22:03:00 According to the Vodafone usage meter I have had quite high (for me) Upstream data for a couple of days.
As this is something new I am at a loss to see how this occurred. On one occasion I did upload a large zip file to Google Drive.
There is probably a logical explanation but it eludes me at present. Any help appreciated.

1370287 2014-03-15 22:20:00 If its upstream, check no file sharing programs are running, other cause can be malware OR Vodafones usage is reading wrong.

One way to check, install www.softperfect.com Its a usage meter, its free and it will tell you exactly how much data is going up and down, and when ( its live results) The download links are near the bottom of the page, portable or install.

If it shows uploading traffic open task manager and see whats running.

1370291 2014-03-16 01:01:00 Wainuitech, I think I need some more help please. I ran Malwarebytes and nothing found. I ran Networx and it agrees with the Vodafone usage meter.
I have looked in task manager but I am not really sure what I am looking at. I presume that I should be checking on "Services" to see what is running?.
The unusual high upstream usage has only be evident since 11th, around about the time I used Google Drive. Could this be the problem?.
Would like your further comments when you get a spare moment.

1370292 2014-03-16 01:31:00 You installed any games lately, like League of Legends? Thinks like that distribute the program through bittorrent in the background (Pando Media Booster?) and continue to seed even after you've installed. Check for things like that. Chilling_Silence (9)

Check for things like that.No. The only game I have is MS flight simulator but that has been on the computer for months. Pato (2463)
1370294 2014-03-16 02:47:00 The unusual high upstream usage has only be evident since 11th, around about the time I used Google Drive. Could this be the problem?.Dont actually use Google Drive, but I do use One Drive ( previously Skydrive) If Google drive is like the others it will be set to auto sync certain folders, which could be documents pictures etc. SO "IF" you put some pictures for example in the My pictures folder they will upload to Google drive. This could account for the sudden uploading traffic.

I dont know where the setting are for google drive, but maybe someone else who uses it can advise, and you can check whats being told to sync.:2cents:

This will either confirm or eliminate Google drive.

1370295 2014-03-16 03:10:00 OIC. No, I have only uploaded one file so I guess it isn't Google Drive. Pato (2463)
