| 270433 | 2004-09-08 20:52:00 | Hey all, anyone know how to change the icons as above to an icon? At the mo, it's kind of like a diamond under where it shows DVD/CD rom drives, on my other PC here. And its a diamond shaped icon under the CD and DVD as well. I've deleted it then rebooted. No change. It's not a major prob. BUT it'd be better if it look like a proper icon! Any ideas?? how to fix this?? Thanx |

| 270435 | 2004-09-09 01:48:00 | Umm no, this pc hasnt got shellicons, and I dont use Resource hacker, whatever this is. Not to worry, I ran regedit and searched for DVD/Cd-rom. All i had to do was make a new string value icon = -51. That fixed the icon to a cd one, in device manager Thanx for the info |
